It's been an easy transition for the new CEO at Rochelle Community Hospital. Mark Batty began his new job on April 9th after working at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru since July of 2007.
He was the Vice President of Operations and Human Resources at the Hospital.
During yesterday's program "Let The People Know", Batty said that both hospitals are similiar when comparing Rochelle and Peru.
He also talked about 1 of his goals right now at RCH, talk with all employees and doctors along with top officials in Rochelle.

The RCH Auxiliary is also hosting a Kentucky Derby Celebration Fundraiser this Saturday starting at 4 at the Rochelle Golf and Steak House, formerly the Rochelle Country Club. The $30 ticket includes a buffet dinner along with music from the RTHS Jazz Band and a silent auction.
All of the money raised on Saturday will go back into RCH for future projects.
