Starlin Castro drove in two runs and Matt Garza was nearly flawless on the mound over seven innings as the Chicago Cubs beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-1, yesterday in the City of Brotherly Love. Garza gave up a single to the first batter he faced and didn't allow another base runner until issuing a one-out walk in the seventh. The right-hander recorded 10 strikeouts, including the 800th of his career, to improve to 2-and-1 on the season. Joe Mather added a solo shot for the Northsiders, who have took two-of-three in the four-game set at Citizens Bank Park. Chris Volstad gets the nod opposite Vance Worley in tonight's series finale.
