A former Rochelle man pled not guilty in Ogle County court yesterday after being arrested on the felony offense of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.
37-year old Martin Zuniga of Rockford was charged with the alleged incident.
The alleged victim was a 7-year old girl that he knew.
In court yesterday, Zuniga waived his preliminary hearing and demanded a jury trial. He returns to court on November 10th for a pre-trial conference in Oregon.
Zuniga remains in jail in lieu of a $750,000 bond.
