President Obama is defending his executive actions on immigration. The actions aim to shield more than four-and-a-half million illegal immigrants from the threat of deportation. Speaking in Chicago yesterday, the President said the U.S. immigration system has been broken for a long time. Obama criticized House Republicans for continuing to block a bipartisan immigration reform bill that was passed by the Senate a year-and-a-half ago. Obama was interrupted by hecklers who complained about the deportations that have gone on in his administration for more than five years.
