1 person is dead following a single vehicle crash in DeKalb County late Friday night.
51-year old John Young of Lake Holiday was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident took place on Somonauk Road, north of Harter Road, in rural Cortland. Young was traveling southbound on Somonauk Road when his car left the pavement. The vehicle rolled over several time before coming to rest on its roof.
DeKalb County Sheriff's Police say that Young was not wearing his seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation.
