Women across the globe will be baring their breasts today as part of an international equality protest. "Go Topless Day" is celebrated each year on the Sunday closest to August 26th, otherwise known as Women's Equality Day. That's the date women earned the legal right to vote in the U.S. Many cities will hold marches and events with women going topless today, and men will join in as well.
Organizers also encourage survivors of breast cancer to take part. Folks in major cities like Chicago, Phoenix, St. Louis, New York, Miami, Denver and Minneapolis will be among those participating in events.
