Rochelle City Clerk Bruce McKinney has announced that petitions are available at his office for the next local election.
Rochelle has 3 council members whose 4 year term is coming to an end next April. The city officials are Dave Eckhardt, Kathy Hollonbeck, and Dan McDermott.
Petitions and supporting documents can be picked up the the Rochelle City Clerk's office Monday through Friday between 8am and 4:30pm.
The petitions can be filed between November 21st and November 28th.
The consolidated election will be held on April 4th of next year. If necessary, a consolidated primary election will be held in Rochelle on February 28th, 2017. The primary would take place if Rochelle had 13 or more candidates running for the 3 council positions.
