The Rochelle Township High School board received an update report last night on the current fiscal year budget. The district is 6 months into the school year.
Superintendent Jamie Craven said that there have been no surprises so far in the budget. They hope to continue receiving money from the state for the rest of the school year.
School officials received a discipline update following the first semester. The numbers were down compared to last year. There has been an increase of students arriving late to school..
Resignations last night included Family Consumer Science Teacher Linda Hoover at the end of this school year.
The list of teachers resigning in June of 2020 includes Janette Kooy, Dr. Peggy Franklin, and Dave Oldenberg.
The RTHS board met for about an hour as the discussion centered around personnel in the district. No action was taken.
Next month's meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 21st.
