Illinois' universities are the latest to be looking at a credit downgrade. Moody's Investors Service yesterday said it plans to review most of the state's public universities for a potential downgrade.
University of Illinois, Illinois State University, Eastern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, and Governors State University could all see their credit rating lowered because of the lack of a state budget.
