Ogle County officials have filed charges against a Rochelle man in connection with a sexual abuse incident that allegedly took place in 2015.
50-year old Don LaDew has been charged with 7 counts of the Class 2 felony offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The alleged incident took place between April 1st and July 15th of 2015. LaDew knew the victim.
He is also currently in jail on 2 counts of the Class 2 felony of possession of child pornography. The 2016 case remains pending in court.
LaDew returns to Ogle County court tomorrow for a preliminary hearing in the sexual abuse charges. He will plead guilty or innocent at that time.
LaDew remains in jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
