The Ogle County board approved a grant application yesterday evening dealing with the River Road Heritage Trail in Oregon.
The project involves a bike path from Lowden State Park to the City of Oregon along RIver Road for area residents to use.
Re-appointments included Paula Diehl of Mt. Morris and Joe Yockey of Stillman Valley to the Board of Review.
Ogle County officials also approved a special use permit for Nathan Meeker involving a private storage yard dealing with inoperable motor vehicles and parts in the 23 hundred block of North Blackhawk Road.
Renovation work remains on schedule for the Emergency Operations Center in downtown Rochelle. The project is expected to be completed in June.
Speed zones were also lowered on Daysville Road between 2nd Street and Lowden Road and on River Road from Edgewood Road to near Wisconsin Street.
