The 143rd Commencement Ceremony was held Saturday at Rochelle Township High School as hundreds of people attended the event.
The graduation activities were held in the main gymnasium and heard on Good Time Oldies 1060.
The Class of 2017 has 213 seniors. The Valadictorian is Lexy LeMar.
The Salutatorian in the class is Josh Bunger.
The ceremony today included the Carney R's to the top 3 students in the class. The gold Carney "R" went to LeMar, Silver to Bunger, and the Bronze to Alec Tilton.
This was the 12th consecutive year that the RTHS Commencement Ceremony was held indoors in the main gymnasium.
