A Mt. Morris man suffered injuries yesterday afternoon following an alcohol related single vehicle crash in Ogle County.
Reports indicate that Tyler Bunting of Mt. Morris was traveling eastbound on Route 64 as he attempted to turn onto Ridge Road. The vehicle left the pavement and traveled into the east ditch before coming to rest in a soybean field.
Bunting was transported by ambulance to KSB Hospital in Dixon for treatment of his injuries.
He was also arrested on the charge of DUI, failure to reduce speed and leaving the scene of an accident, along with possession of cannabis.
A passenger in the Bunting car was not hurt in the crash.
