Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner is starting his Asian trade mission in Tokyo. The governor landed in Japan yesterday, he's on an eight day swing through Japan and China. Rauner said it's "vital" to secure a solid relationship with Japan.
Illinois is home to over 600 Japanese companies, and the governor office says those companies are responsible for almost 50 thousand jobs in the state.
Gredco Director Jason Anderson of Rochelle is part of the group with Governor Rauner talking with officials from Japan and China about the different features the Hub City offers.
