A Rochelle man was arrested on drug charges this morning following a traffic stop in the 4,000 block of East Flagg Road. 30-year old Robert Curatola has been arrested on the charge of driving while under the influence along with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis, under 10 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Curatola's car was originally stopped for speeding which he received a ticket for.
He remains in jail with no bond set on the charges. Curatola will appear before a judge this weekend in Oregon.
The arrest took place by Ogle County Sheriff's Police this morning a short time before 3:30.
