All of OSF's hospitals are back in the Blue Cross Blue Shield network in Illinois. The two healthcare companies have announced that they have come to terms and will once again work together.
Blue Cross announced in October that it was dropping most OSF facilities but never said why. OSF HealthCare Senior Vice President Randy Billings yesterday said in a statement that he is happy to provide both coverage and some certainty for families who've come to depend on both OSF and Blue Cross for their care.
