No tickets will be issued by Rochelle police after a car struck a pedestrian Wednesday evening in the Hub City.
The accident took place at the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Route 38.
Reports indicate that the driver of the car was turning westbound onto Route 38 from Lincoln Highway. The vehicle bump the pedestrian from Ontario who was crossing the street.
The individual fell to the ground, but refused medical treatment.
A witness told police that the stop hand was activated on the traffic control device and that the pedestiran shound not have attempted to cross the street.
