The Rochelle Township High School board met in monthly session yesterday evening as they approved a few items on the agenda.
The board ok'd the landfill property valuation agreement after several months of negotiations.
A settlement was also reached with the Ogle County Board of Review along with the City of Rochelle and representatives of the landfill.
The school district plans to purchase a new bus at a cost of just under $61,550. This includes a trade in value at $40,000.
Brian Stoll has been hired as the new outdoor maintenance employee effective March 16th. He replaces Matt Svela who resigned.
The RTHS board met in executive session as the discussion included personnel in the district. No action was taken.
