An eastern Iowa man is okay after bringing his small plane in for a crash landing in Rockford. It happened yesterday at about 9:30 in the morning.
Police in Rockford say the crash happened as the pilot was trying to land. Federal investigators say the plane is registered to a man from Zwingle, Iowa. The plane took off from Dubuque. The pilot was not hurt in the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
