A Rockford man faces several charges after he drove his truck into the ditch in the 9000 block of Pecatonica Road and Leaf River Road on Friday. The Ogle County Sheriff's Office reports that Todd Munz was located at a gas station in Leaf River and arrested for Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving while License Revoked. He was also charged with improper lane usage and illegal transporation of alcohol. Munz was taken to the Ogle County Jail where he will be held until he goes before a judge.
Friday night deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Route 251. 39 year old Beverley Kirksy of Indiana was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Kirksy was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Also Friday night deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of south Route 251. 28 year old Jermaine Tillman of Rockford was arrested for No Valid License. Also arrested was passenger, 30 year old Marissa Cathina of Rockford on an Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Both Tillman and Cathina were transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Ogle County Deputies made a couple arrests for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants on Friday.
32 year old Shira Ealey of Oregon, for Failure to appear. Ealey posted bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Ealey will return to court at a later date.
48 year old Robert Murphy of Belvidere was wanted for Failure to appear. Murphy did post bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail.
