Rochelle police arrested 5 students at RTHS yesterday morning after the department's K-9 unit found cannabis in their lockers. A small amount of marijuana was seized.
Arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of cannabis were 19-year old Jesus Herrada and 18-year old Lucas Donoho, both from Rochelle. Police also arrested a 16-year old male and 2 17 year olds, a boy and a girl, on the same misdemeanor offense.
Herrada, Donoho, and the 16-year old boy were also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The teens were released following the arrest and given a court date of May 25th in Oregon.
