Illinois is on the list of states with someone who got sick after eating tainted lettuce. The Centers for Disease Control on Friday issued a warning that no one should eat Romaine lettuce after an outbreak of sicknesses across the country.
The CDC says unless you are absolutely sure that your lettuce is not from Arizona, you should probably throw it away. The state's Department of Public Health isn't offering much information about the single case in Illinois.
