Rochellle Street Superintendent, Tim Isley, has announced that Creston Road, on the east side of Mulford road, will be closed to traffic again today.
The closure is necessary to install new stormwater tile across Creston Rd. The City of Rochelle’s Street Department will be performing the work.
All traffic will be detoured approximately 1.5 miles south to Ritchie Rd. Work is expected to be completed by 3 in the afternoon on Friday subject to weather.
Advance warning, detour and other temporary traffic control devices will be posted near the affected area. Please use caution while traveling in this area and pay special attention to the advanced warning signage, road closed signage and other temporary traffic control devices within or in advance of the work zone.
