No injuries were reported Tuesday afternoon after the Rochelle Fire Department received word of a man who fell off his 12-foot sail boat into Lake Sule.
The incident took place at around 2:45 in the 900 block of Wiscold Drive.
Rochelle Fire Chief Dave Salwsville said that when emergency personnel arrived on the scene, the man was in the boat after falling into the water.
The fire department used their boat to bring the man to shore and also get the sail boat out of the water.
The Dixon man refused medical treatment following the incident. Sawlsville said that the boat was full of water when pulled out of the lake.
Lake Sule is located along I-39.
