White Sox beat Boston 2-1

Alexei Ramirez scored in the bottom of the ninth on Xander Bogaerts' throwing error to send the White Sox to a 2-1 walk-off win over the Red Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.  Ramirez extended his hitting streak to 14 games with a single while Dayan Viciedo was 2-for-4 and Adam Dunn hit a solo homer.  Erik Johnson struck out nine in six-and-two-thirds innings of one-run ball while Daniel Webb notched the win.  Chicago has won four out of five.  Former ChiSox starter Jake Peavy struck out eight over six innings of one-run ball for Boston but Burke Badenhop suffered the loss.  Daniel Nava hit a solo homer for the Red Sox, who have lost three straight.

Game #2 of the series is tonight.
