J.B. Shuck notched the go-ahead pinch-hit double to push the White Sox past the Orioles, 3-2, in Chicago. Shuck scored Gordon Beckham in the bottom of the eighth to break a two all-tie. David Robertson picked up the save in the ninth as the White Sox improved to 20-and-15. Reliever Zach Putnam earned the win after blowing the save. Jeff Samardzjia struck out nine for the White Sox in the no-decision. Manny Machado tied the game for Baltimore with a two-run homer in the top of the eighth inning. Bud Norris took the loss for the O's, their third in-a-row.
