David Robertson locked down the ninth for his 33rd save of the season.
Seattle's Taijuan Walker took the loss, allowing all four runs over seven-and-a-third innings. Robinson Cano's solo homer was the only run the M's could manage.

Brock Stewart and four relievers combined to hold Chicago to four hits with Joe Blanton coming away with the victory. Kenley Jansen locked up his 39th save. Adrian Gonzalez drove in the only run for Los Angeles on a fielder's choice in the eighth inning to help them hold steady with a two-game lead over the Giants in the NL West.
Kris Bryant and Jayson Heyward each had two hits for the Cubs, while Trevor Cahill was tagged with the loss out the bullpen. Chicago is 82-and-47.
The Cubs will be at Wrigley Field Monday night to open up a series against Pittsburgh.
