Jimmy Butler hit two free throws with less than a second left to lift the Bulls to a 104-103 win over the Celtics at the United Center. Marcus Smart was called for the foul that sent Butler to the line. Butler finished with 29 points and Bobby Portis added 19 for Chicago, which won its second straight to get to 28-and-29.
Isaiah Thomas had 29 points for Boston, which had its four-game winning streak snapped to fall to 37-and-20.
The Bulls return to action next Friday at the United Center against Phoenix.
