College Basketball
Sauk Valley Community College Men's Head Basketball Coach Russ Damhoff has announced his retirement after 31 years on the sidelines with the Skyhawks.
The 65-year old Damoff is also retiring as Athletic Director at the college.
Damhoff had a record of (592-392) at Sauk. This included 2 conference championships and 2 regional title.
Damhoff plans to spend more time with his family in the retirement along with some traveling. He plans to be in Phoenix for the Final 4 in college basketball next month.
He may also be part of a program as an assistant coach in the future.
