Artemi Panarin scored the winning goal in the shootout as the Blackhawks slipped past the Stars 3-2 at the United Center. Patrick Kane tallied in the shootout and in regulation, while Marian Hossa had the other goal for the 'Hawks, who have earned at least a point in seven straight. Corey Crawford kicked aside 42 shots, plus two of the three shootout attempts for the victory.
Ales Hemsky scored twice for Dallas, which has lost five of seven. Kari Lehtonen stopped 24 shots in defeat.
The Blackhawks will be in Florida on Saturday against the Panthers.
