Congratulations goes out today for Dixon High School Head Wrestling Coach Chris Bishop who was named "Coach of the Year" by the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association during their annual banquet Sunday evening.
The Dukes finished with a dual record of (24-2) and 3rd Place in the Class 2A Dual Team Wrestling State Tournament.
Bishop just completed his 7th season as head coach at Dixon High School.
RTHS Head Wrestling Coach Rich Harvey was a finalist for the "Coach of the Year" award. The Hubs finished with a dual team record of (16-8) and their first Regional Championship in the wrestling program.
