The Cubs reeled off five runs in the second inning as they clipped the Reds, 7-5, at Wrigley Field. Kyle Schwarber and Anthony Rizzo each had two-run singles in the frame to lift Chicago. Kyle Hendricks tossed six innings of two-run ball for his third win. Wade Davis earned the save, his ninth. The Cubs go for a three-game sweep on Thursday.
Scott Feldman was chased in the third inning for Cincinnati, falling to 2-and-3. Zack Cozart finished 3-for-5 with a homer, two RBI and two runs.
