The Tigers and the White Sox split a doubleheader in Chicago on Saturday. Tyler Danish and four relievers combined on a four-hit shutout in a 3-0 White Sox win to start the day. Leury Garcia tripled in a run for the South Siders.
In the nightcap, Buck Farmer struck out 11 over six-and-a-third innings as Detroit earned a 4-3 victory. Victor Martinez and John Hicks homered for the Tigers. Chicago leads the four-game series, 2-1, with the finale set for Sunday.
