Several area football players were part of the winning West All-Star Team on Saturday as the 43rd Annual Illinois High School Shrine game was held at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington.
The West jumped out to a 44-7 lead at halftime over the East and won the game 58-7.
Quarterback Austin Revolinski of Belvidere threw a touchdown pass 65 yards and ran another TD in from 2 yards for the West All-Stars.
Matt Albers of Rochelle and Noah Gipe of Forreston also played for the West.
Albers plans to play both football and baseball at Augustana College.
