The White Sox avoided a three-game sweep with a 9-0 rout of the Twins in Minnesota. Jose Abreu and Todd Frazier each hit two-run homers during a five-run first for Chicago. Jose Quintana struck out nine over six-and-two-thirds innings to improve to 4-and-8.
Nik Turley fell to 0-and-2 after failing to make it out of the big first inning. The four-hour, 50-minute rain delay prior to the game was the longest in Twins history.
The White Sox will be in Chicago tonight against the Oakland A's. Pre-Game Show begins at 6:35 on Good Time Oldies 1060.
