Seattle beats the White Sox 4-2

Robinson Cano launched a three-run bomb to key the offense as the Mariners clipped the White Sox 4-2 in Chicago.  Seattle starter James Paxton tossed six innings of two-run ball to pick up the win.  The M's bullpen combined for three frames of hitless baseball with Edwin Diaz notching the save.  Seattle has won three-of-four.

James Shields surrendered four runs over six innings to take the loss for the Sox.  Chicago has dropped five-of-six.

Game 2 in the series is tonight with the Pre-Game Show at 5:35 on Good Time Oldies 1060.
