Brandon Moss hit a walkoff RBI-double in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Royals past the White Sox 5-4 at Kauffman Stadium. Whit Merrifield clubbed a pair of solo homers including the tying blast in the eighth for the Royals, who swept the three-game series and have won five straight overall. Merrifield, Jorge Bonifacio and Eric Hosmer hit back-to-back-to-back homers in the fourth. Kelvin Herrera was credited with the win.
Adam Engel smacked a three-run double for Chicago, which has lost nine in-a-row. Gregory Infante suffered his first career loss.
