The Dodgers scored six unanswered runs to cruise past the White Sox, 6-1, in the first of two at Dodger Stadium. Los Angeles tied the game at one in the sixth and then pulled away with five in the eighth. Corey Seager capped the rally with a two-run single. Alex Wood gave up one run over seven innings, but wasn't apart of the decision. Brandon Morrow came away with the victory. Los Angeles is 50 games over .500 at 84-and-34. Chicago took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a lead-off homer by Tim Anderson. Reliever Juan Minaya was tagged with the loss.
The White Sox wrap up their two-game series with the Dodgers tonight in LA. Chicago is an AL-worst 45-and-71 on the season. Carlos Rodon toes the rubber for the Sox. Broadcast on WRHL begins at 8:35.
