Jose Abreu homered twice as the White Sox hammered the Giants, 8-1, in Chicago. Abreu launched a two-run homer in the second inning and added a solo shot in the seventh. Carson Fulmer fired six innings of one-run ball to pick up the win. The White Sox took the rubber match at home.
Madison Bumgarner gave up 10 hits and six runs over five innings to fall to 3-and-8 for San Francisco. Jarrett Parker provided the offense with a solo homer.
The White Sox open up a 3-game series in Kansas City tonight.
