Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio agreed to a three-year deal to
remain with the Bears. Fangio, who interviewed last week to replace
the fired John Fox, joined the Bears in 2015 after the team owned
one of the league's worst pass defenses in 2014.
Although the Bears, who ended up hiring former Kansas City offensive coordinator
Matt Nagy, are a combined 14-34 in the last three seasons, the team
finished in the top 10 in points allowed, total yards and passing
yards last season.
