Bulls and Blackhawks both lose

Tomas Satoransky sank five-of-six three-pointers and scored a career-high 25 points as the Wizards beat the Bulls 101-90 in Chicago.  Satoransky left with just more than three-minutes to play after landing on his shoulder and head after a flagrant foul by Chicago's Bobby Portis.  Otto Porter Junior had 14 points and nine boards in the victory.  Washington is 6-and-2 in its past eight games. 

Justin Holiday led Chicago scorers with 15 points.  Lauri Markkanen had 12 points and 10 boards, as seven Bulls scored in double figures.  The Bulls lost for the eighth time in nine games.

Chicago is back home Monday night against Atlanta. The game can be heard on Good Time Oldies 1060.

 

Charlie Coyle scored a pair of goals as the Wild tamed the Blackhawks 3-0 in Saint Paul.  Devan Dubnyk logged a season-high 44 saves in the Minnesota victory.  Mikko Koivu also lit the lamp in the winning effort.  The Wild are 4-1-and-1 in their last six games. 

Chicago's Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews  each had five shots on goal.  Jeff Glass made 16 saves on 19 shots.  The Blackhawks have lost five in a row.
