Kyle Schwarber hit his first homer of the spring as the Cubs defeated the Indians 11-6 in Goodyear. Schwarber had two hits and scored three times. Starter Jose Quintana gave up two runs, but just one earned, on three hits over two-and-a-third innings. Chicago continues Cactus League play against the Padres this afternoon in Mesa.
Yoan Moncada got on base in all four of his at-bats to help the White Sox beat the Reds 14-12 at Camelback Ranch. Moncada had two singles, a double, a walk and scored two runs. Chicago hit four home runs, including the third of Cactus League play from Matt Davidson. The Sox host the Royals in Glendale this afternoon.
