Rochelle native Andy Wilkinson placed in a couple of tournaments this week on the West Florida Golf Tour. Both were 18 hole events.
Andy tied for first place on Monday at the Ritz Carlton Series Tournament in Bradenton, Florida. He shot a 5 under par 67.
Wilkinson lost the playoff on the 3rd hole. 63 players teed off in the tournament.
On Wednesday, Andy placed 7th at the Tampa Palms Series Tournament. He shot a 3 over par 75.
Only 3 players broke par under windy conditions.
Wilkinson will play in a 3-day tournament on April 2nd through the 4th on the Florida Elite Golf Tour. There will be 120 players at the event.
