A Davis Junction man is back on the streets today after he was arrested this week involving an alleged sexual abuse incident earlier this month.
51-year old Michael Koch was charged with the felony offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Ogle County Sheriff's Police received word of the alleged incident on February 11th. It involves a juvenile who reported inappripriate contact from Koch. The alleged confrontation took place in rural Davis Junction.
Authorities say that Koch knew the victim.
He was in court yesterday for an arraignment as a public defender was appointed. Koch returns to Ogle County court on March 18th for a preliminary hearing. At that time, he is scheduled to plead guilty or innocent to the felony charge.
He was released from jail following the posting of 10 percent of the $100,000 bond.
