Rochelle police arrested a Sycamore man this morning following an altercation with officers.
30-year old Laquan Walker has been arrested on the felony offense of aggravated battery to a police officer along with 2 counts of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, misdemeanor charges.
Police say that Walker was creating a disturbance at around midnight in the 1,000 block of Carrie Avenue involving his former girl friend.
During the confrontation, he allegedly shoved an officer and scratched him on the hand.
No one suffered any serious injuries from the incident.
Walker was transported to the Ogle County jail following the arrest with no bond set. He is scheduled to appear before a judge later today in Oregon.
