Three companies with Rockford ties are among the hundreds now facing charges as part of a massive, national healthcare fraud sweep. A number of Sure Care executives are charged with fraud for allegedly offering or seeking kickbacks to refer patients to certain pharmacies.
The Department of Justice filed charges against similar care providers in nearly two-dozen states. Attorney General Jeff Session yesterday said it's the largest healthcare fraud takedown in the history of the United States.
