Lee County Sheriff's Police have arrested a Mendota man following a home invasion incident last month.
46-year old Maxwell Ambler was taken into custody on Friday for the Class "X" felony offense of home invasion and aggravated kidnapping.
Police report that the incident took place in rural Compton on August 26th. Ambler allegedly entered the home wearing a hood, robe, and mask. The female victim was confined against her will as her hands were bound with duct tape which caused bruising.
The Mendota Police Department assisted in the arrest.
