2 people suffered injuries last night following an alcohol related crash that involved a motorcycle in rural Polo.
28-year old Jared Pettenger of Tampico was traveling westbound on Sterling Road when he lost control of the motorcycle on gravel causing it to roll near the intersection of Freeport Road.
Pettenger along with a passenger were thrown from vehicle.
The passenger was flown from the scene by React helicopter to a Rockford hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Pettenger was also transported by ambulance to CGH Medical Center in Sterling for treatment of his injuries. He was also arrested on the charge of DUI.
