Illinois' Medicaid managers say they're reviewing a new rule that may allow states to ask people on the government's healthcare rolls to work.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services yesterday approved what it's calling community engagement, which opens the door for work or volunteering requirements. The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, which runs Medicaid in Illinois, says it is looking at the rule change implications in the state.
