Ogle County Sheriff Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident early this morning in the area of Razorville Road and River Road. The incident ended following a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 7900 block of North River Road. Deputies say the vehicle had had been involved in the accident and had struck the stop sign. The driver of the vehicle 28 year old Russell Schier of Byron was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Schier was additionally cited for Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Schier was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
The Ogle County Sheriffs Office made several Outstanding Warrants yesterday.....
37 year old Novi Nemeth of Bourbonnais for Failure to appear. Nemeth did post bond and was released from the Ogle County jail.
41 year old Joshua Schier of Polo for Probation violation. Schier did post bond and was released from the Ogle County jail. Schier will appear in court at a later date.
62 year old Therese Gates of Stillman Valley for Failure to Appear. Gates did post bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail.
43 year old Joseph McFadden of Sterling for Failure to Appear. McFadden did not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. McFadden will appear in court at a later date.
On Thursday the Ogle County Sheriff’s office arrested 28 year old Joshua Cook of Sterling for Driving while License suspended. Cook Was held in lieu of bond at the jail.
